The Füleky Mansion

The owner of the two-storey Baroque-style mansion was György Füleky, who was a founding member of the First Tokaji Wine Growers Association.

The building is now part of the Füleky Winery, and it is adjacent to the winery's wine processing plant, which won the "Industrial Building of the Year 2011" award in a vote by ArchDaily.com, the world's most popular architecture website.  The building, built with the use of a medieval foundation section, blends harmoniously into the historic environment resembling of the past centuries. This prestigious award has brought international recognition to the building's asymmetrical façade, which is composed of the original medieval stone wall, modern raw concrete surfaces and the soft features of oak.
