The Bezerédj House
The house belonged to Imre Bezerédi, who betrayed Ferenc Rákóczi II according to the history records and was beheaded in December 1708.
In 1951, 25 deported families were directed to Bodrogkeresztúr. Among those deported was Károly Dietz, the captain of the Hungarian national football team from 1934-39, who was moved to this house with his wife.
Károly Dietz became the police captain of Budapest on 31 October 1918, after the Hungarian Soviet Revolution, when he had already worked in the police for 12 years. On 21 February 1919, he arrested Béla Kun on the orders of the government, together with several Communist Party leaders. He later became an accountant in a private firm, while earning a doctorate in law and opening a law firm in 1931.
